Pepper’s Ghost is an illusion technique that makes semi-transparent objects appear or disappear. This technique has been used for more than 150 years in theater, films and attractions, such as the Spookslot in the Efteling and Disney's Haunted Mansion. The effect is also popular in the music industry, where deceased artists such as Tupac and Elvis Presley appeared holographically on stages. It works with a transparent foil and hidden projectors that create an illusion. One or more projectors are placed in a place that is invisible to the audience (often under the floor). Some of the light from the projector is captured by the foil, creating the illusion that someone is actually standing there.
