Amersfoort Zoo has a new attraction; "De Ooievaart"! "De Ooievaart" is an experience where visitors take a cable car as a stork flight over the Savannah. To make waiting in line for this attraction a little more enjoyable, Vision2Watch has designed an Augmented Reality experience. A screen (processed as a skylight) is mounted on the ceiling of the waiting room, on this screen a 4K image of the outside air is streamed. When visitors come close to the screen, an animation is started with the help of a motion sensor. The animation is an augmented video of two storks that walk across the window and then begin their flight south.
